Terms and conditions
Registration fees :
Ø The entrée fees for any individual event is 75Rs for juniors and sub juniors, 100Rs For seniors and. 250 Rs. for group dance competition.
Ø Bonus : entree fee for all events per day – Rs. 300 for sub juniors and juniors and Rs. 500 for seniors per day ( inclusive of participation in all workshops and competitions )
Dance :
Ø 5 + 1 mins for sub juniors and juniors and 8 + 1 for seniors.
Ø Time duration for group dance competition is 8+1 mins. The minimum number of participants in a group should be 5 and maximum 8. the dances will be judged based on theme, choreography, co-ordination, costume , make up and overall presentation.
Ø Live or recorded music can be used. Good quality cued cassettes and c d’s should be used. Students should provide the cassette or CD with the music for their dance along with the entry form. Music system will be provided at the venue.
Ø The participants can perform to any classical dance, folk and contemporary forms ( Film songs and western styles are strictly not allowed )
Ø Participants are responsible for their costumes and make up.
Shloka chanting –
Ø Maximum time duration – 4 mins.
Ø Min of 2 , max of 4 shlokas should be chanted along with translation.
Ø The selected shlokas should be produced in writing at the time on entrée.
Essay writing –
Ø Min of 100 and max of 300 words.
Ø Languages – English or Kannada
Ø Topic – any aspect of dance.
Dance painting –
Ø Participants should bring their own material. Paper will be provided.
Ø Time – 20 mins max.
Ø Participants can draw inspiration from any aspect of dance, like mudras, forms of dance, costumes, etc.
Other conditions
Ø Spot registration is permitted.
Ø Prize winners of each competition will be announced on the last day of the event.
Ø Prize winners will be honored with a memento on the last day of the event and all participants shall be given a certificate.
Ø The decision of the judges is final.
